A hot topic in the recent years has been the inclusion of high fructose corn syrup in most boxed foods on the market High fructose corn syrup is THE number one cheapest alternative to real sugar that we have and has been linked with a slew of health problems, not the least to mention cirrhosis of the liver, type 2 diabetes mellitus, cancer, and dementia.
Today’s post is relating to a CHALLENGE that I have done in my life and would like to spread to everybody on this earth. The challenge is to go through your refrigerator and pantry to locate every product you have that has high fructose corn syrup… and don’t skip any one item because you think it doesn’t have it… you’d really be surprised!

If you’re like me, you found more than one item that contains high fructose corn syrup in the first couple of ingredients listed. Now, let’s think hypothetically for a second here. If you could replace these items at little or no cost, would you? A lot of these products could be replaced for something that does not have high fructose corn syrup with a simple $0.20 upgrade, if anything at all.
A lot of manufacturers are taking shortcuts on their path to profit while sacrificing your health and wellbeing in the process. Let’s reverse this trend and become more aware of the products we put in our body.
